Real User Experience Monitoring (RUM) enables you to measure and improve you application user experience experience. RUM is typically used to track metrics such as page load times, network latency, and error rates, all of which contribute to the overall user experience.

For example, if you have an e-commerce website, RUM can help you identify specific pages or features that are causing delays or errors for users. It will highlight to you which pages are slow, which user actions result in errors or which and record users experiencing the most errors.

You can integrate RUM into your application using a tool like OpenTelemetry to capture and send performance metrics to a monitoring system.
